We bought a cord of firewood yesterday. $350. I'm not sure that this will be a positive Return on Investment. Natural gas may actually be cheaper!
One cord may last through the winter. Not sure. It's supposed to be in the 30's tonight...so we may have our first fire real soon!

Think it's cold now? Wait until February! Not as cold here, but I am enjoying sleeping under covers again and drinking tea while cozying up with the cat. Of course I have a little heater on my belly which is keeping me pretty warm.
